Aya’s new campus in Columbia, MD (moved to in September 2021) is a state-of-the-art facility that caters to the full developmental needs of children and expands the school coverage from Toddlers and Primary, to Elementary ages.

Montessori Validation: Aya is Montessori-validated for ages 2-9 by a state-approved validation organization (EducationMatters LLC);
MSDE NON-PUBLIC SCHOOL: Aya is an MSDE- Approved Nonpublic School Program for Grades KG-6th Grade;
OFFICE OF CHILDCARE: Aya is an OCC-licensed Childcare Center for ages 2-5
A 3-Hr Positive Discipline workshop with Dr. Noha Alshugairi (California, USA). Open to the Community. CEUs available upon the completion of workshop.

In addition to our Academic Programs, Our school day includes enrichment classes that cater to the different needs of our diverse community . These immersive classes are taught through hands-on materials, conversations, small group lessons, songs, and story-telling.

Our Lead Teachers who are Montessori-trained spend at least 800+ hours learning about child development and Montessori theory and practicing in training centers and actual classrooms then go through extensive exams before obtaining their certificate.
Using bright colors, natural wooden materials and contemporary designs, our classrooms are open and welcoming. What makes it even special is the content; beautifully-designed and colorful materials. Our sun-filled rooms inspire bright minds everyday.
We believe that hands-on materials are key to deeper understanding and better learning. Materials offer a sensorial experience with its high quality wooden materials. In addition, our Enrichment materials were built ONLY FOR Aya BY Aya founders and specialists. We take pride in our handmade materials that complement the beauty and quality of our Montessori materials in the classroom.
Social development is essential in the early years. We might be physically distant, but we are not socially distant.
Children at Aya are part of a loving community and have a sense of belonging.
