AMI Primary & Elementary Training Sponsorship
In an effort to invest in highly-trained and highly qualified future educators, Aya Montessori is looking for motivated candidates to take their AMI Primary (ages 3-6) OR Elementary (ages 6-12) training. The candidate will complete the training while gaining hands-on experience at Aya.
Sponsorship Amount: Up to $15,000 to cover the entire training
Starting Date: Training begins in Summer 2024. Employment at Aya begins August 19th, 2024.
Training Center:
Blended Primary Training at Washington Montessori Institute (Online & Maryland)
Blended Elementary Training at Montessori Northwest (Online & WA)
Employment Opportunity:
Support Staff/Assistant Position while training to gain experience.
What the offer includes:
Full Training Sponsorship if the candidate continues to work at Aya for 3 years and successfully completes the training.
A support staff position with a competitive salary.
Discounted tuition for candidates with children.
Candidate has the option to pursue a Master’s in Education through the same program. The candidate is financially responsible for the Master’s program, however, it’s important to note that a Master’s degree offers a better-paying position.
Aya Montessori’s Requirements:
Experience in Early Childhood Education OR Passion for Montessori Education and Early Childhood Education highly recommended.
Native English Speaker or Advance English Language Skills.
Basic knowledge and respect of Islamic Teachings.
Basic understanding of the Montessori method.
Full commitment to pursue the program, assignments, and requirements.
U.S Work Authorization or legally able to work in the U.S.
Ability to travel to any on-site training block per the training requirements.
Bachelors’ Degree / Foreign credentials must be evaluated by an MSDE-approved agency. (required)
Master’s Degree (preferred).
Training Center’s Admission Requirements:
Academic ability to pursue an intensive and deep study of child development
Adequate oral language and writing abilities
High-level organizational abilities to manage the varied requirements of the course
Integrity of character and maturity of personality congruent with the demanding and important work of leading a community of young children
Openness to new ideas and a revolutionary approach to human development
